Black History Month

The last number of weeks have seen various focuses for Black History month; this week we had a special assembly with Kendrick Morris, previously Executive Principal of the Trust. Today we welcomed Mighty Jamma, a well known steel pan musician and it has been great to see children enjoying finding out more about aspects of Black History and culture. We were pleased to speak to children and for them to tell uslots about famous black historical people and events such as Windrush.
