Nursery Ash End Children's Farm Trip

Nursery have been learning about farm animals and really enjoyed their trip to Ash End House Children's Farm. They travelled by bus to get there which was the first time for some of the pupils!

The children were taken on a tour to learn about the different animals. Pupils learned that a daddy goat is a billy goat, a mummy goat is nanny goat and a baby goat is a kid.

As well as goats, they saw lots of types of ducks, fed a lamb called Luigi and fed some very noisy sheep! They met some large cows and stroked their heads and enjoyed a very bumpy tractor ride!

Pupils were able to see the chickens and take an egg home to cook and eat too! They had so much fun that most of them fell asleep on the way home!
