Year 3 Trip to the Botanical Gardens

Year 3 went on a trip to Botanical Gardens this Tuesday where children had a fantastic day exploring the gardens and the glasshouses and experienced an authentic rainforest adventure.

Children were very excited and had a great experience of walking straight from hot and humid tropical conditions into a desert climate and observe the changes to plants due to the seasons. Children were very enthusiastic about taking part in the teaching session and activities where they had the opportunity to look at the artefacts and real plants and animals.
